In the qualify ground taken place from June 1 to July 25, there are over 200 teams from elementary schools in the province. Eleven teams have qualified for the final ground taken place from August 1 to August 8.

This is a useful activity for children in the summer vacation aiming to socialize the sport activities and to create good environment for children to improve their football talents. Through this tournament, all the children will have change to exchange with each other and to comprehend the power of solidarity and fair play in sport. Eleven teams are divided into 4 groups of A, B, C and D. The qualifying round will run at the province’s sporting hall to select the top four teams for the final round. The football competition will close on August 8, 2006. Organizers will award Cup, flags, medals and prize money for top 3 teams. Of which, overall winner 1st shall receive the championship team with  gold medal and prize money of  6 million VND while 2nd with silver medal and an amount of 4 million VND and 3rd with bronze medal and 2 million VND. Besides, many other awards will be given for the most excellent footballer, excellent goalkeeper, excellent referee and player who scores the most goals over the duration of the competition. In this morning, the opening match between Cam My district and Nhon Trach district was taken place with the result Nhon Trach wins 4:1 against Cam My.
