Talking to Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Matsumoto Nobuyuki says that through contact with Japanese enterprises, there are over 60% of Japanese enterprises want to invest in Vietnam. Since then, it shows that Japanese enterprises investing in Vietnam have had certain results, so they want to continue to expand their production in Vietnam. In order to meet the needs and aspirations of enterprises in providing information and investment environment in the southern provinces of Vietnam, the Japanese survey team wishes to be provided the latest information on the investment environment in Dong Nai. Mr. Matsumoto Nobuyuki is also interested in human resources and training, meeting high-quality human resources related to the fields of electricity, electronics, medical, robotics...

Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Hoang informed the delegation about the socio-economic situation of the province, the situation of attracting foreign investment capital in Dong Nai province. Accordingly, in Dong Nai province, there are currently 45 countries and territories investing in 1,575 projects with a capital of 33.76 billion USD. Of which, there are 272 Japanese projects with a total investment capital of 5.59 billion USD, ranking third position in foreign investment in Dong Nai. Particularly in 2022 and the first 3 months of 2023, Dong Nai province has 9 investment projects from Japanese focusing mainly on industrial parks in Dong Nai province and 16 capital increase projects with a total registered investment capital of 401.15. million dollars.

Regarding international cooperation with Japan, Dong Nai province has established the first cooperation relationship with Japanese partners and localities since 2012. After 10 years of implementation, up to now, Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee has signed 14 MOUs at the provincial level and 5 MOUs at the departmental level with Japan. 2023 is a special year, marking the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan. It is known that on this occasion, Dong Nai province is expected to organize activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan in the province in September 2023.

The Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee hoped that Mr. Matsumoto Nobuyuki would pay attention and introduce Japanese businesses to Dong Nai province for cooperation and investment expansion in the near future after the meeting. The province will always create the most favorable conditions and investment environment for businesses.​​​
