In the afternoon of October 31th, Mr. Dinh Quoc Thai, Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee, welcomed a delegate of 80 Japanese enterprises led by Mr. Kohei Watanabe, Chairman of Mekong River Commission (Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry) in a visit to have understanding of investment environment in Dong Nai province.
At present, Dong Nai has attracted more than 1 thousand Foreign invested projects with the total amount of nearly $20 billion, in which Japanese enterprises contributed 156 projects with the capital of about $3 billion and had the fourth rank among foreign investors in Dong Nai. Currently, Dong Nai has prioritized to attract investment in projects relating to Hi- tech, supporting industry, food processing, farming and raising.
At the welcome, Japanese enterprises showed their interests in such fields as human resource, specialized industrial zones as well as priority policies for small and medium sized – enterprises.
After the meeting with Provincial leaders, the Delegate paid a visit to Long Duc Industrial Zone to have understanding of the investment environment of the province.
