With achievements in its activities in July 2009, The Bureau for Market Management showed its efforts for examination and violation treatment in commerce.
Among 250 examination cases, violations are 242. The Bureau handled 242 cases (10 cases from the previous month), including 240 cases of pecuniary penalty, 2 cases of warnings, 20 cases of goods confiscated. The amount handed in the budget this time is VND298.7 million, including VND 293,485,000 fine.
Specifically, via examinations held to prevent production, trasport and trade in fake and low quality goods, violations of food hygiene and safety, livestock, poultry and banned addictive, they detected 09 cases of fake goods with VND33.4 million handed in budget, 19 cases of food hygiene and safety with VND37.2 million fine, 4 cases of low quality, expired goods with VND7.6 milllion fine.

For illegally imported foreign goods prevention task, the Bureau detected and handled 10 purchases of illegally imported goods, including 9 cases of illegally imported cigarettes, 84 cases of posted price violations, 5 cases of violations of petrol trade with VND4.6 million handed in budeget and VND64.5 million fine in total.
For other fields, violations of product label regulations are 60 cases; business without certificate is 16 cases; other violations in business are 20 cases.
Recently, the market management team in collaboration with Health Centers of districts, Long Khanh town, Bien Hoa city investigated businesses in eating and drinking, foods for collective, industrial serving, and manufacturers of ice-cream, bread, candy, meat roll, meat pie, etc. The interdisciplinary delegation detected and handled 20 violations and fine VND50.5 million. For industrial serving, the enterprise and interdisciplinary inspection delegation inspected 4 enterprises and detected 3 violations and handled and fined over VND8 million. The interdisciplinary inspection delegation examined 4 businesses and handled violations in three with VND12.7 million in total.
