Currently, the United States is Dong Nai's largest import partner, accounting for nearly 29% of total turnover in exports of the province. The key products that Dong Nai enterprises exporting to this country are textiles, footwear, wood products, textile fibers, machinery and tools and spare parts, iron and steel products, strong fabrics, technical fabrics.

In export turnover into the United States, about 80% of enterprises have foreign direct investment in Dong Nai. In addition, the United States has a big trade surplus of Dong Nai with about US$3,8 billion. Enterprises in the province import a lot of cotton, machinery and equipment, animal feed, and corn from the United States.
