Support the Youth’s start-ups associated with the OCOP program

The Provincial Youth Union has just organized a forum on solutions to support the youth union members to start a business in association with the One-Commune-One-Product (OCOP) program in 2022.

 


Attending the forum, rural youth heard representatives of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development shared information related to the OCOP program, such as: the meaning of the OCOP program; benefits of the OCOP program (such as: training support, sales skills support; start-up idea development; production and processing technology support; joint production to create quality products to meet the increasing demands of the market; support product design and packaging).

The youth also listened to the representative of the Department of Science and Technology informed about the content of the Intellectual Property Law; introduce the addresses, the division to guide and consult in detail intellectual property registration dossiers for private investors; policies related to entrepreneurship and innovation, helping young people have more information to access in the process of starting a business. Representatives of the Department of Industry and Trade also shared about preferential policies from the trade promotion program; conditions required to participate in trade promotion programs.

In addition, the youth also heard the representative of Haravan Technology Solutions Joint Stock Company shared their experiences in participating in the e-commerce platform. Representatives of the Provincial Youth Union also shared about some solutions to support youth union members to start a business in the near future.

On this occasion, the youth also discussed with the guests about common issues in the process of starting a business and setting up a business and were answered by representatives of departments and businesses.
