On the morning of October 5th, at the working session with the Dong Nai Food Industry Corporation (Dofico) on the progress of the Agropark project in the district Xuan Loc, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Van Tu has instructed relevant departments and agencies to work more closely with the corporation to find solutions to accelerate the progress of the project to avoid any unnecessary and wasteful delay.

The Agropark industrial-agricultural complex project is invested by Dofico Corporation with the total area of about 2,100 hectares located in Xuan Tam, Xuan Hung, Xuan Thanh and Xuan Bac communes. This project was approved by the province for investment and compensation, support and resettlement plan in 2007. Through nearly 10 years of implementation of the project, up to now the work of land compensation and acquisition has reach approximately one thousand hectares of land, of which the land is mainly owned by Saigon Forestry One Member Limited Liability Company and Tho Vuc One Member Limited Liability Company.
The local government has proposed the province command Dofico to speed up the implementation of infrastructure investment and items of the project in accordance with the schedule and detailed planning that has been approved. The unit needs to find solutions to attract more investment projects concerning concentrated agricultural production and application of high technology in the direction of building large fields to promote the effectiveness of the project.
