However, in the context that many enterprises are really struggling because of the epidemic, needed the support and "lifebuoys" on time in the current period, banks need more connections, suitable support methods in terms of interest rates, maximum simplification of procedures, increased the ease of access to preferential capital, support, etc.

Mr. Chau Minh Nguyen, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Enterprises Association shared that, in fact, in this period, it is not easy for many businesses to prove their financial capacity and demonstrate the impact of the epidemic on their revenue and income, etc. Moreover, businesses are facing many difficulties because of the epidemic, so it is difficult to prove and meet the conditions and criteria for loan support.

Mr. Dang Van Diem, Chairman of Dong Nai Young Entrepreneurs Association, suggested that businesses that are facing many difficulties in terms of capital and labor need the banking industry, commercial banks to share with businesses. In particular, for small and medium enterprises, the loan to pay salaries for employees under Resolution 68 is usually not much enough, so the procedures and papers need to be simplified so that enterprises do not have to "go back and forth" many times to handle.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Hai, Deputy General Director of Social Policy Bank (VBSP) and Director of VBSP Dong Nai Province, said that in the coming time, the branch will continue to actively coordinate with relevant departments, branches, associations and cooperative to review and grasp the demand for loans; coordinate with social insurance and tax agencies to focus on guiding and completing loan documents and procedures to ensure timely disbursement for enterprises and employers in need, eligible; maintaining hotline to receive and promptly handle complaints and recommendations of policy beneficiaries.

Improve the connection between banks and businesses

Mr. Ta Thanh Long, Director of the State Bank of Vietnam, Dong Nai Branch, emphasized that the banking industry in the province identifies the bank-enterprise relationship as symbiotic, removing difficulties for businesses is also removing difficulties for banks. Not only businesses need the banks, but banks also have to actively seek and connect with businesses, because successful business means that the bank's capital is used effectively, contributing to the success of the local economic development.

However, in nature, a bank is also an enterprise operating in the monetary field, so it cannot avoid difficulties caused by the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. Therefore, the banking industry always wants the business community to share and accompany to overcome this difficult period with the system safety as the top priority.

In the upcoming time, the banking industry in the province will continue to stick to the goal of safe and effective credit growth, along with the synchronous implementation of solutions to support customers affected by the Covid-19 epidemic according to regulations, strive to achieve the target of credit growth and control the bad debt ratio as planned.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Cao Tien Dung shared that enterprises have encountered many difficulties in the past time. In particular, the most difficult at the moment is cash flow to maintain production and restore operations, so it is necessary to receive capital or reduce or extend the repayment period. Therefore, the State Bank of Vietnam's Dong Nai Branch needs to record enterprises' complaints to the State Bank of Vietnam in order to have a timely and appropriate credit support plan for businesses.

In addition, the banking industry needs more information channels, programs and policies on credit support to businesses, associations and cooperatives in the province. At the same time, businesses also need to work closely with the authorities in disease control, handle arising situations in the best way to maintain stable production, etc.

Party Central Committee Member and Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Hong Linh said he was willing to receive business opinions via phone to hear complaints, modified the main apparatus to better serve businesses with the goal of economic recovery, flexible adaptation, safety, proactive control of disease risks, etc.

The State Bank of Vietnam, Dong Nai Branch, needs to proactively implement oriented credit management solutions, regulations of the State Bank of Vietnam, contributing to promoting the recovery and development of production and business, closely following the target of credit growth results, control bad debts, etc. The banking sector in the province needs to actively reduce operating costs to be able to continue reducing interest rates for existing and new loans; support and accompany with businesses, people overcome difficulties caused by the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic. Enterprises facing many risks, banks need to have appropriate solutions to support and share difficulties with businesses, ensuring regulations.
