Import of goods increased by $ 43 million

​According to the Dong Nai Department of Statistics, businesses’ import of goods in the province in August was over $ 1.2 billion, increasing by $ 43 million compared with July-2017. For the first eight months of this year, the province's goods import value was nearly $ 9.57 billion, up nearly 13% over the same period last year. The Imported items that have increase in terms of quantity include: raw cashew nuts, chemicals, pesticides, rubber, cotton, steel, computers, electronic products and other metals. Among 9 items with high import turnover, there are 6 items that serve as raw materials for production of companies.
