On September 6th, Mr. Bernabé García Valido, Consul General of the Republic of Cuba in Ho Chi Minh City, and his wife paid a courtesy visit and sent a goodbye to Dong Nai’s leaders before returning to his country for new responsibilities.
Greeting the delegation from Cuba, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Dinh Quoc Thai said that although the two countries are geographically far from each other, the relationship between the two are close. Both the Vietnamese and Cuban have a strong will to defend and protect their country. Throughout the years of fierce fighting for peace, Vietnam has always received a lot of Cuban support. After the Vietnam War, Dong Nai was the most developed province in terms of industry in the country, so it was ready to share with the Cuban people the experiences in the process of development and renewal. In the coming time, Dong Nai will pay much attention to developing the commercial market with Cuba. In early 2018, Dong Nai will send a delegation to visit and seek investment opportunities in Cuba.
