It has not been brought into full play of local strengths
In addition to the achieved results after 1 year of implementing Resolution 04 on tourism and efforts to recover tourism development after the pandemic, tourism industry of Dong Nai still has many limitations and has not brought into full play its strengths of the local.
The progress of implementing key tourism projects in the province is still slow leading to Dong Nai has not fully exploited its resources, advantages, and non-state capital to create a breakthrough for tourism of the province. Technical facilities, tourism products have not been synchronized, have not created a typical product chain; Existing tourist sites are still affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in the past time, so they have difficulties to invest in new products and services. Besides, tourism human resources; infrastructure for tourism are still lacking and weak, tourism advertisement and promotion are still not creative, so the results are not high.
Speaking and directing at the conference, Member of the Central Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hong Linh said that Dong Nai had many advantages to become a tourist-class locality but has not been able to do it. Currently, Dong Nai tourism was entering the popular segment. Therefore, Dong Nai has to go into the high-end segment to become a local with high-class tourism.
The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee noted that each department, branch and locality must consider and set an action plan to implement the Resolution 04 on tourism of the province. There must be a specific and practical action plan to promote the development of tourism. According to the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Dong Nai had many opportunities for tourism development with potentials: forests, lakes, rivers, mountains ... are diverse ecosystems that can promote the development of eco-tourism, agriculture and spirituality tourism.
The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested Dong Nai to carry out specific planning work. That was the most important key in tourism development. When the planning and legality of the project were clear, it was easy to attract investment. According to the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Dong Nai had enough facilities for human tourism training to serve the tourism industry, it was necessary to maximize the capacity of human resource training institutions for tourism in Dong Nai, ensuring to meet the requirements of each position and work. Tourism establishments must commit to employ trained and professional workers. Dong Nai was ready to support enterprises to train professional human resources.
