In the third quarter of 2021, owners of projects and companies operating in the province could not perform periodic monitoring as prescribed due to the requirements of Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control. Recently, the Department recommends that owners of projects, and companies to self-monitor, implement measures and requirements for environmental protection approved by competent authorities; strictly implement periodical environmental monitoring. It is strictly forbidden to discharge waste that has not been treated up to environmental technical regulations; toxic substances and other hazardous substances into the soil, water and air environment.
Owners of projects, and companies are responsible for submitting environmental protection reports in 2021, environmental protection projects, and environmental protection commitments to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment and agencies for approving the report on environmental impact assessment by January 31, 2022.
