Nutritional systems seem important to control children's obesity.

Similarly, P.V.Q is aged 52 kilos at the age of 11. According to her mother, he likes eating processed or canned food, sugary and fat products, so his parents must adopt careful system of nutrition. Apart from H and Q, more and more children get obese today, which results in number of disadvantages for them.

According to findings of study subject entitled “Study on disadvantages that overweight and obese students at the age of between 6 and 15 confront at primary and junior schools in Bien Hoa city-Dong Nai” by M.A, doctor Ha Van Thieu and doctor of specialty 2, Bui Van Xo (at Dong Nai hospital of pediatrics), 888 out of 12,654 surveyed school children are diagnosed to be overweight and obese, making up 7.22%. The findings also show that children at age ranging from 6 to 9 occupy 68.02%; from 10 to 15, 31.98%; 70.16% for boys and 28.84% for girls. Therefore, as shown in the findings, the boys are facing the high ratio of overweight and obese risks among the school children at age ranging from 9 to 15.

Obesity occurs when accumulation of lipids in fatty structures gets so much and unusual that it can cause health problems. WHO considers obesity the global pandemics and it is known as the top disease in the list of diseases caused by the human civilization. That economic growth results in prosperity and material abundance leads us to wrong concepts of nourishments. Many of the parents wrongly think that having their children eat a lot of nutritional food can guarantee their better physical growth. However that is a serious mistake. Eating to much and absorbing well without motion can easily cause obesity.

Energy entering the body via food is absorbed and oxidized to convert into calorie. The energy exceeding body’s demand will be stored in from of fatty tissues. Consuming too much fatty food is closely related to an increase in obesity. Therefore, helpings with fatty enrichment, even in little amount; can certainly cause calorie redundancy and overweight. Besides fatty food and meat of all kinds, starchy food and sugar and sugary products can cause obesity. Consuming too much sugary products, dried and fast food, eating fruits are causes accounting for children’s obesity. Many parents are spoiling their kids as everything is available for them to eat whenever they need and they are not encouraged to move about a lot. In fact, genetic element just makes up a low rate.

Obese children face negative effects.

Obese children often face negative effects. They have potential of catching certain common diseases such as cardiovascular, hypotension, diabetes, high blood triglyceride, and high cholesterol in blood, transfer symptom, gall-stone, kidney ball and some kinds of cancer. Moreover the obese students encounter less confidence and inadaptability to social changes and soon become antisocial to friends, which probably result in uncertainty and negative impact on their study results.  The findings display: ratio of obesity and overweight at 3rd level: 75.68%; blood lipid disorder: 83.67%; cholesterol/lipoprotein density over 3: 84.68%; ratio of good and rather good study results: 53.49%, fair and poor results: 46.51%.

Successful treatment of overweight and obesity needs comprehensive therapy, eating habits and daily activities should be cared at childhood. Parents should provide at maximum 4 meals a day (including extra meals), more supply of confectionary and nosh, limits on fatty, sugary and protein food. It is important to meet their nutritional demand via daily helpings. In addition, they should be more active. Parents should help their kids to take daily physical training such as: doing exercises, going upstairs, going to school on foot, football and jumping, taking part in outdoor activities and manual motion at least 1 hour per day. Laziness and passiveness that consumes less energy could resemble more fatness. Even in learning, parents should not have them learn in a hard way but give them chance to think and create in their own ways. An active thought can help to use up the redundant energy. Furthermore, in order to comprehensively develop children’s mental and physical power, certain educational innovations are needed to enable them to achieve both good health and brilliant wisdom.
