    The competition had the participation of 8 football teams which were divided into two groups of A (including Long Thanh, Thong Nhat, Dinh Quan and Dong Nai Public Security) and B (consisting of Trang Bom, Bien Hoa City, Vinh Cuu and Dong Nai Power Co.). The teams will play in a round robin tournament to choose top teams for the semi-final. Right after the opening ceremony, Long Thanh defeated Dong Nai Public Security 6-3 in the first match of group A. As known, the final match will take place on January 29.
